New to Constant Contact or need a refresher? In this first session, we’ll explore how to create on-brand e-mail campaigns, best practices in contact and list management, and reading reports to measure success.

In our second session, we’ll focus on optimizing your content. What do your readers want to hear from you? If you don’t know, maybe now is a good time for a survey. Most readers are typically looking for discounts and promotions, exclusive content, event invitations, and ways to connect with you or others like themselves. By knowing what your readers want, you can write for their interests instead of your own. Wondering what words you should avoid in your subject line? We’ll look at some common things that trigger spam filters.

 

E-mail Automation

During this final workshop session, we’ll explore how to create automated e-mail campaigns through Constant Contact. Automated e-mails can help to engage new contacts and build lasting relationships through timely and relevant content. When you create a customized series of e-mails, you decide what to communicate, how to align the messaging with your business goals, and when your contacts will hear from you. This is a huge time saver–once the sequence is set up and activated, the e-mails send automatically! Did you know you can send birthday and anniversary e-mails, too?
