Whether you are preparing to launch a new business or you have been in business for years operating without one, there are many advantages to creating a business plan. It’s also typically a requirement for any business seeking financial support.
In this workshop, SBDC Certified Business Counselor, Stewart Gates, will guide attendees through the process of developing a well-crafted business plan. Along the way he will provide tips for optimizing each section to assemble a convincing plan that demonstrates to a lender that the business will succeed and be sufficiently profitable to repay a loan.
ABOUT STEWART GATES

Stewart, a Certified Business Advisor, was a commercial lender for 20 years and has owned a financial services company for 10 years. Stewart’s extensive business experience in the North Country has enabled him to forge relationships with both conventional and alternative lenders. He knows what lenders expect in a business plan and enjoys helping NH SBDC clients craft their business plans.
